Protecting your privacy is important to Proya. This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) explains how Proya processes personal data collected through websites, software products and services (“Applications”), including those provided by our authorised resellers and other channel partners, and through Training, in-person and digital events, webinars, surveys, marketing activities, and visits to our premises (along with Applications, collectively our “products and services”). References to “Proya,” “we,” or “our” means Proya Yazılım Ve Ticaret A.Ş.

We encourage you and your end users to read this Privacy Policy carefully and use it to make informed decisions. By using our Software, you agree to the terms of this Privacy Policy, and your continued use of the Software constitutes your ongoing agreement to it.

We may display supplemental privacy notices on occasion, such as when we believe additional transparency would help you make an informed choice about whether to provide personal data. For example, you may see a supplemental privacy notice explaining a particular data collection program, or you may see a supplemental privacy notice when registering for an event.

What information does Proya collect about you?

We obtain personal data in different ways. Some personal data is collected directly from you. In addition, we gather certain information automatically as part of your use of our products and services via Proya analytics programs and tools and web services..

Social Networking Data: We may include content, pixels, tags, buttons, or other tools that link to another company’s services and/or platform(s) (“Plugins”). If you use one of our products and services that contains Plugins, information can be transferred directly from your device to a third-party provider of services and/or platforms. We may not control the data collected by Plugins. If you are logged into a social network, the social network may be able to link your use of our products and services to their services and/or platform.

For example, if you interact with a Plugin by clicking on "Like," "Follow," or "Share," or by writing a comment, this information may automatically appear in your profile on the relevant social network service or platform. Even if you are not logged in, the Plugins may send your IP address to social network services and/or platforms. Please note this when using our products and services.

When you connect to a social networking service or platform on a device that is also used by others, these other users may be able to see information that is stored or displayed in connection with your profile on the social networking service page.

How does Proya use the information it collects about you?

In addition, Client’s and End User’s Personal Information may be disclosed to other trusted third party service providers or partners for the purpose of: (i) storing Personal Information on our behalf (e.g., cloud computing service providers); (ii) assisting us with our business operations and Software and improving it (e.g., processing and analyzing End Users’ Feedback); and (iii) performing research, technical diagnostics and analytics with regard to the Software.

We may disclose Personal Information, or any information you submitted via the Software if we have a good faith belief that disclosure of such information is helpful or reasonably necessary to: (i) comply with any applicable law, regulation, legal process or governmental request; (ii) enforce our policies (including this Privacy Policy), including investigations of potential violations thereof; (iii) investigate, detect, prevent or take action regarding illegal activities or other wrongdoing, suspected fraud or security issues; (iv) to establish or exercise our rights to defend against legal claims; (v) prevent harm to the rights, property or safety of us, our users, yourself or any third party; or (vi) for the purpose of collaborating with law enforcement agencies or in case we find it necessary in order to enforce intellectual property or other legal rights.

Since we operate globally, it may be necessary to transfer Personal Information across national boundaries. The data protection and other laws of these countries may not be as comprehensive as those followed by us − in these instances, we will take steps to ensure that a similar level of protection is given to Personal Information. What rights and choices do you have?

If you do not have an Proya account, you may submit a deletion request using this form. We may retain certain data about you for legal and internal business purposes, such as fraud prevention, in accordance with applicable laws.

To request a copy of the personal data in your account, please submit this form. Consistent with applicable law, we may ask for proof of your identity before fulfilling your request, and we may ask for additional forms of verification depending on the nature of the personal information requested.

What are Proya’s storage and data retention practices?

We store your personal data and content on our servers and the servers of our service providers. Because we and our service providers maintain servers in global locations, your personal data may be transferred across national borders and stored on the servers outside of your country or region. We will retain your personal data for as long as necessary to provide you with the products and services that you are using or have requested, for the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims, and as needed to comply with our legal obligations. Data may persist in copies made for backup and business continuity purposes for additional time.

Is the personal data you give us ever displayed publicly?

As always, we urge you to be mindful when deciding to disclose personal data, including on our Offerings. Our Offerings may allow you to post content, including comments and “likes,” that can be visible to the public.

In some cases, you can limit who can view or access the information and content you post.
